Badly laid Stone Floors
Badly laid floors (tiles with lips in excess of 2mm +) can easily be rectified with our full grind service where the tiles are ground totally flat so that the grout line can sit flush with the tile. Depending on what type of stone you have the tiles can then be further diamond polished to a very high shine or left to a honed finish (matt/satin). Once all the moisture has dried out from the tile, the tiles are then sealed with a impregnating sealer Natural/Colour enhancing to further protect the tiles from staining. There are many advantages to having your stone floors ground and polished, the main reason is that your ongoing maintenance will be made a lot easier due to the fact that there will be no recess in the grout lines to harbour dirt or bacteria.
